Try Star Wars Free This Weekend

I feel a great disturbance in the force, as if millions of people suddenly started downloading Star Wars: The Old Republic and weekend plans were suddenly cancelled.

This weekend, SWTOR is open to anyone who wants to grab the client and try it out. The Weekend Pass event runs from now until Monday March 19 2:00AM Central Time.

This is a great opportunity to try the local Aussie servers without forking out $60 for the game, and see if Bioware’s latest Star Wars Adventure grabs you.

I highly recommend the Bounty Hunter class. How could you pass up something so handsome?

Portal 2 OST: Volume 1 – Songs To Test By

Valve have released the Portal 2 Original Soundtrack to download for Free – yes, FREE!

Volume 1 – titled “Songs To Test By” contains 22 tracks from Portal 2, and as an added bonus there is also a few ringtones available from the website to download to your Android iOS Device.

You can download Volume 1 from the Thinking With Portals Website, or alternatively you can grab it from the 3FL Mirror.

Alien Swarm – I love free stuff

Today Valve have released a L4D’alike called ‘Alien Swarm’. The game is entirely free.  It costs $0 and is on the 3FL Steam mirrors – so you’d best give it a go (c’mon… it’s FREE).  Sadly I’ve not yet had a chance to play it, but from all reports it’s pretty fun.

As per usual we have a ton of servers up and running – 48 right now.  I’ll see if I can expand this if it explodes like Left4Dead, and I’ll see you on there tonight!

Happy doing whatever it is to aliens that the game requires you to do.  I’m hoping it’s some sort of diplomacy simulator.
