Defend Your Dungeons With TF2 & Portal

El_Funko - Thursday, October 20, 2011

Dungeon Defenders is out now and it’s time to ask the question – how many things can they cram into one Steam game? Tower defense, check. Action RPG, check. 4 player co-op, check. TF2 and Portal Steam bonuses, check. Free cheese, check. Wait, that last one might be wrong.

Dungeon Defenders is the perfect mix of action and team strategy. Choose one of four diverse character classes, each with their own unique skills and defend your tower from the onslaught of rampaging monsters. You can roll into the front lines of Battle as the Squire, hacking and slashing down your foes or take the stealthy option as the Hunter and creep around setting up turrets and defenses behind enemy lines.

Purchase the game through Steam for $14.99 (or split a 4-pack between your mates for $44.99) and you’ll get access to the Steam exclusive Portal gun and TF2 familiars.

It Begins. The Engineer Update.

wob - Tuesday, July 6, 2010

But now there’s hope for our hard hatted friends.  The first update page released today comes with a brand new gun that charges crits based on how many kills your sentry has made before it dies.

There now appears to be a new “Golden Wrench” in the wild too, which can be found by crafting.  Valve are telling us 100 of these babies will be made, so it’s pretty limited edition.

We’ve also been treated to a new TF2 comic which in true Valve fashion contained a few secrets.   I’m looking forward to what the rest of the week will bring, and we should be expecting the update to go live this Friday our time.

Bring on the combat engie!

GamingSA Update

wob - Wednesday, December 16, 2009

As I write the last 2 ArmA2 servers are being set up,  they should be online within the next hour.  We’ve already got ArmA2, CS1.6, CS:CZ, CSS, COD4, COD5, KF & L4D servers going.

You may notice this excludes several servers.  We’ve chosen not to move servers that hadn’t seen any action on the GSA graphs in several months time – it didn’t seem worth it.  If anyone is upset that their server is now missing please please please come tell us on the forums and we’ll see what we can do to sort you out :)

So once again – welcome aboard.. and let us know if you find any problems with the servers or have any suggestions for them!

Cheers,
wob
