About The Mirror

The file mirror currently has a capacity of approximately 1.4Tb.
Location
The file mirror is currently offered from 2 locations - Perth and Sydney - via IPv4 Anycast. This means that Westnet and iiNet customers are able to hit their local mirror via one hostname (mirror.3fl.net.au) without having to select a location. This system also allows for seamless failover should the mirror become unavailable in one location.
For users outside of the iiNet or Westnet networks, the Sydney mirror will serve your requests for content with the mirror accessible both externally via Sydney and also accessible across PIPE Network's NSW peering point.
Accessing the 3FL Mirror
You can access the file mirror with an appropriate HTTP or FTP client at the following locations:
- HTTP Port 80 - mirror.3fl.net.au/pub/ or 203.21.20.200/pub/
- FTP Port 21 - mirror.3fl.net.au/pub/ or 203.21.20.200/pub/
- rsync Port 873 - rsync://mirror.3fl.net.au/
Please note that for FTP connections, these are limited to 3 per IP address to prevent abuse of the service.
