Frequently asked questions:

What player do I need to listen to 3FL radio?

Any software player that can play mp3 audio should be able to stream 3FL's radio services. Winamp, iTunes, Windows Media Player, XMMS and mplayer have all been tested to work with 3FL radio.

The stream is not working!

If it is down at the source it will be down for us too! Try another stream and see if any others are working. If none of them are, chances are your connection maybe having troubles. If our stream does not work but the source does then let us know in the forums.

The recent playlist is a few hours out of date.

3FL's streams are configured to "stream-on-demand", meaning they wont connect to the source stream unless someone is listening to it. The playlist cannot be populated while the stream is not active. This configuration allows us to offer a wider variety of streams.

Does listening count towards my download limit?

That depends which ISP you are with - you should probably check with your ISP to confirm whether streaming is counted in your limit or not.

Can I link to your radio streams?

We would prefer if you linked to the front page of the 3FL Radio website, or to the stream's information page. We may from time to time make changes to the configuration of the streaming software and linking directly to streams may result in broken links. So please don't do it!

Can you stream...? / Make a Suggestion

We welcome any suggestions for new radio streams, however we can't stream anything and everything. Post a request in the 3FL Forums and the 3FL team will take a look at it.
